Franciscan Caritas

ext to the Basilica of St. Francis, the Community of the Sacred Convent, the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, have resided, since the beginning of the Basilica Complex, giving witness of Franciscan spirituality.
In a specific sense, their Missionary activity targets those people who still ignore Christ, and aims to spread the Gospel and to establish the Christian community as an effective sign of salvation.
St. Francis sent his Friars throughout the world to announce the Gospel. Since that time, the Friars have gone, literally, to the farthest parts of the world, armed with Faith and courage, reaching out to all people, sometimes suffering martyrdom and attaining sanctity.
Today, the Conventual Friars are present in many countries, where they announce the Gospel and testify, with many works of charity and solidarity, the love of God for all people. Through his Conventual sons, many initiatives continue to bloom in the name of St. Francis.

You also, can help to testify the love of God.
